Meet Kevin Frost
The journey began when Kevin Frost received a rod-building kit as a gift. What started as curiosity quickly deepened during one of the most meaningful chapters of his life. While caring for his father in his final days, rod building became both an outlet and a shared passion between them. That experience shaped not just Kevin’s approach to craftsmanship, but the purpose behind Frost & Fins: building something lasting, personal, and worth remembering.
With a master’s degree in Ocean Engineering and a career rooted in coastal resiliency, Kevin brings more than skill with thread and epoxy — he brings a respect for the water itself.
Kevin still handcrafts every rod, tailoring performance details like length, action, and power to each angler while infusing every build with personal touches in design and finish. The result is gear you can trust, and a brand that reflects the heart behind it.
